Provide day-to-day operational support for freight and logistics businesses.
About the Role
You will be the backbone of daily operations — handling freight bookings, tracking shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Process freight bookings and update tracking systems
- Coordinate with carriers and customers
- Prepare and manage freight documentation
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve issues
- Generate operational reports
Requirements
- Experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain
- Knowledge of freight management systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in Australian time zones
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CargoWise or similar TMS
- Understanding of Australian customs processes
